Did you know that 40% of people think individuals, rather than corporations, should take the lead in addressing environmental concerns? And almost half believe they can personally have a positive impact on the environment? With so many leagues, teams and their facilities making great strides in sustainability, it seems there’s a huge opportunity to share their story with fans and allow them to join in.
Given that roughly 80% of the emissions from large scale sporting events and concerts are attributable to fans traveling to and from the game, offering them an opportunity to get involved with the efforts of their favorite teams is a no-brainer.
